Team Member - Nacelle Plant Purchase

To support procurement activities by ensuring timely sourcing, purchasing, and availability of materials, consumables, services, and spare parts required for uninterrupted plant operations while achieving cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
Float RFQs and obtain quotations from vendors.
Compare quotations and prepare comparative statements.
Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders.
Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, spares, and services.
Vendor Management
Coordinate with existing suppliers for deliveries and order fulfillment.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
Monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost, and delivery.
Support vendor identification, registration, and evaluation processes.
Cost Optimization
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules within approved authority limits.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and procurement efficiency.
Support localization and alternate vendor development initiatives.
Coordination & Follow-up
Work closely with Stores, Production, Planning, Quality, and Finance teams.
Track open purchase orders and expedite critical materials.
Resolve supplier-related issues affecting business operations.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain purchase records, contracts, and procurement documentation.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements.
Support internal and external audits related to procurement activities.
MIS & Reporting
Prepare procurement reports and purchase trackers.
Monitor procurement KPIs and pending order status.
Maintain procurement data in ERP/SAP systems.
