General Summary:
Directs a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. Functions as a central resource with design, process, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing, and distribution as the product(s) and/or product line(s) move through their lifecycle. Formulates and executes long-term roadmaps for cost/profit control. Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends. Directs those involved in the design, modification, and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the product or product line.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
General Summary:
Join Qualcomm’s rapidly expanding Data Center Business Unit as a Director of Product Management, where you will shape the future of AI-driven data center solutions. You’ll lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products from standalone Connectivity DSPs to more complex products serving hyperscale datacenter Connectivity needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for AI-centric data center Connectivity Products.
* Lead market analysis to identify emerging system-level trends and implications for Connectivity Products
* Collaborate with silicon architects, systems engineers, firmware and software teams to translate market and customer needs into detailed Market Requirements Documents.
* Engage directly with hyperscale cloud providers and other customers and strategic partners to gather feedback, co-develop proofs of concept, and drive early deployment of Connectivity Solutions.
* Partner with marketing and sales leadership to craft compelling value propositions, competitive positioning, launch plans and go-to-market collateral.
* Drive design-in of Connectivity products with Hyperscalers and their suppliers in conjunction with Sales Team.
What You'll Do:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of Product Management or related customer facing work experience.
What You'll Need:
* Familiarity with emerging data center trends such as disaggregation, agentic AI, and Connectivity trends such as NPO and CPO.
* 15+ years of customer facing experience, with at least 5 years focused on data center or AI infrastructure.
* Demonstrated success defining and launching Connectivity products in collaboration with cross-functional development teams.
* Proven ability to engage with C-level executives and engineering leads at hyperscale cloud providers or tier-1 enterprise customers.
* Strong analytical skills, comfortable with financial modeling, market sizing, and competitive benchmarking.
* Excellent communication and storytelling abilities—able to translate technical detail into clear business impact.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$229,800.00 - $344,800.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
