Maintenance Tech 1

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM with a night shift premium
Training: Approximately 2 months on day shift before transitioning to the night shift.
bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support manufacturing operations by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. This position plays a key role in maintaining equipment reliability, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring manufacturing operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance team members and manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot equipment issues, complete maintenance activities, and contribute to operational excellence in a regulated manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-related equipment issues.
Execute repairs in accordance with safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
Document maintenance activities accurately within required systems and records.
Perform inventory checks and assist with spare parts management.
Collaborate with maintenance team members and manufacturing personnel to resolve technical issues.
Escalate complex equipment problems to senior technicians or leadership when necessary.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Complete required training and maintain proficiency in maintenance procedures and systems.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with bioMérieux quality standards, GMP requirements, and safety policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum two (2) years of maintenance, manufacturing, industrial, facilities, or related experience, along with experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing or industrial equipment.
