The Hilton San Diego Bayfront is seeking a Market Place Attendant to join The Cannery Market & Supply team! If you have a passion for customer service and a genuine spirit to serve, this is a great opportunity to begin or grow your hospitality career.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A friendly, reliable, and guest-focused attitude with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
The ability to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming market area.

Strong communication skills and a commitment to creating a positive guest experience.
Previous experience in cash handling, food and beverage, or retail is preferred.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Delight our guests: Greet guests upon arrival and provide friendly and efficient service to enhance their experience
Prepare snacks and beverages: Make specialty coffee drinks, warm food items, and assist with the preparation and presentation of pastries and other pre-made food options
Manage store inventory: Replenish and organize market shelves, rotate merchandise, and ensure the display is neat, well-stocked, and visually appealing
Drive retail sales: Highlight promotions and provide product recommendations to enhance the guest experience and maximize profitability
Process transactions with care: Accurately total and handle guest payments using the point-of-sale system; manage cash transactions, process credit and debit cards, issue change, and redeem gift certificates/cards
Maintain a clean and inviting space: Keep the market area, service counters, and equipment clean and tidy
