Lead Technical Product Owner
Position Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise data strategy, governance and platform transformation across Hong Kong insurance domains, converting business, regulatoryand technology priorities into executable roadmaps and accountable operating models.
Lead Enterprise Data Lake, Operational Data Store, reporting, data-product, access-governance and cloud-modernization initiatives.
Shape target-state architecture and adoption plans for Alibaba Cloud capabilities including MaxCompute, DataWorks, Hologres and OSS.
Establish governance structures through Data Committee design, Terms of Reference, decision rights, data ownership and stewardship accountabilities.
Drive persona-based access, ACL modernization and Data Sharing Request controls for PII, PHI, financial and other sensitive information.
Coordinate architects, engineers, analysts, SMEs, vendors and regional teams while balancing strategic transformation with BAU delivery.
Partner with senior stakeholders across Customer, Policy, Product, Distribution, Claims, Health, Finance, Marketing and Regulatorydomains.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of full-stack software development experience; minimum of 5 years of experience in a leading role
Proficiency in Java, Springboot, Angular, Node.js/React, Azure DB, JavaScript, AKS & Azure cloud services
Solid experience or technical knowledge of Alibaba cloud, Polar DB, AI technologies are an advantage
Experience with DevOps, RESTful API design, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and version control.
Strong understanding of performance optimization and coding standard
Collaborative mindset with ability to coach, mentor and lead teams.
Experiments with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next.
Familiarity with insurance industry and distribution compensation systems is a plus.
Experience managing sizable projects or programs is preferable
