This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a strong visual sensibility and a knack for clear, descriptive writing. No professional film industry experience required — just a genuine interest in how stories are told on screen.

What You'll Do
Watch short film and video clips and break each scene into structured visual beatsDescribe camera angles, movement, framing, pacing, blocking, and spatial relationshipsCapture mood, tone, and emotional intent using purely visual indicators — no dialogue referencesProduce clean, consistent scene summaries and beat-by-beat breakdowns following standardized formattingRe-watch clips as needed to ensure precision and accuracyMaintain quality and consistency across a high volume of scene descriptions
Who You Are
Genuinely interested in film, television, or visual storytellingAble to articulate what you see on screen in clear, structured proseStrong descriptive writing skills with an eye for detailComfortable working methodically and independently on task-based assignmentsSelf-motivated and consistent when working at volumeNo professional filmmaking or cinematography background required
Nice to Have
