Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Associate at SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. The Sales Associate will focus on promoting and selling life insurance products to individual and group customers, using digital channels, telephonic outreach, and virtual meetings. Responsibilities include understanding customer needs, explaining suitable insurance solutions, providing accurate product information, and supporting customers through the application and policy issuance process. The role also involves maintaining customer relationships, following up on leads, achieving assigned sales targets, and updating records in CRM or relevant systems. The Sales Associate will collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer queries, ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines, and participate in ongoing training to stay informed about product updates and market trends.
Qualifications
Strong sales and customer relationship skills, with the ability to understand customer needs, present solutions clearly, and close deals ethically.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including confident virtual and telephonic communication and the ability to explain complex products in simple terms.
Basic digital literacy and comfort using online tools, CRM systems, and remote collaboration platforms for lead management and customer interactions.
Good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple leads, follow-ups, and documentation accurately and on schedule.
Knowledge or interest in financial services or insurance products; prior experience in sales, banking, or insurance is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting performance goals and adhering to regulatory and company standards.
Minimum educational qualification typically at the undergraduate level in any discipline; relevant certifications in insurance or finance are beneficial.
