Role Description The Web Developer – Shopify & WordPress will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining company and client websites using Shopify and WordPress. Day-to-day tasks include building and customizing themes, optimizing site performance, implementing responsive layouts, and integrating plugins, apps, and APIs to support e-commerce and marketing initiatives. The role involves collaborating with design, marketing, and product teams to translate business requirements into functional, user-friendly web experiences, as well as troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring website security and reliability. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring close coordination with cross-functional teams and alignment with brand and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Strong Web Development skills, including experience building and maintaining Shopify and WordPress sites.
Front-End Development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design practices.
Back-End Web Development and Programming skills for theme customization, plugin integration, and API connectivity.
Web Design skills with a focus on usability, accessibility, and alignment with brand guidelines.
Experience with e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and performance optimization tools.
Ability to debug, test, and document code, and to manage version control (e.g., Git).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in beauty, wellness, or manufacturing industry websites is an advantage.
