We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development, enhancement, and modernization of web applications used in a global technology environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python/Django and React, along with familiarity with Next.js, REST APIs, and modern software development practices.
About the Role
As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications across both backend and frontend layers.
You will work primarily with Python/Django/Django REST Framework (DRF) on the backend and React on the frontend, while also contributing to the team's transition and modernization toward Next.js.
You will collaborate with other developers, QA engineers, product stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
· Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Python and Django.
· Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).
· Design APIs that are scalable, secure, maintainable, and well documented.
· Integrate backend services with databases and other internal/external systems.
· Troubleshoot backend issues and optimize application performance where required.
Frontend Development
· Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using React.
· Maintain and enhance existing React-based applications.
· Contribute to the migration and modernization of frontend applications toward Next.js.
· Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs.
· Ensure frontend code is reusable, maintainable, and aligned with development best practices.
Full-Stack & Architecture
· Work across frontend and backend components to deliver complete features.
· Integrate applications with REST APIs within a microservices-based architecture.
· Understand service dependencies and contribute to reliable application integration.
· Participate in technical discussions and contribute to appropriate architectural and implementation decisions.
· Identify and resolve issues across the application stack.
Engineering Practices
· Write clean, readable, reusable, and maintainable code.
· Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
· Write and maintain unit and integration tests where applicable.
· Follow established coding standards and development best practices.
· Use Git effectively for version control, branching, pull requests, and collaborative development.
· Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
Collaboration & Support
· Work closely with QA engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
· Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
· Investigate and resolve application issues in development, testing, and production environments.
· Contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing within the engineering team.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience
· 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web application development.
· Proven experience developing and maintaining production web applications.
Required React.js Skills
· Strong hands-on experience with React.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
· Good understanding of functional components, Hooks, props, state, and component lifecycle.
· Understanding of both functional and class-based React components, including the ability to work with and maintain existing class-based code.
· Experience with Redux/Redux Toolkit or similar state management libraries and REST API integration.
· Good understanding of responsive UI development, reusable components, and frontend performance.
· Experience consuming REST APIs from frontend applications.
· Good understanding of modern frontend development concepts.
Required Django Skills
· Hands-on experience with Python and Django.
· Good experience with Django REST Framework (DRF) and REST API development.
· Understanding of Django Models, Views, ViewSets, Serializers, and Middleware.
· Good knowledge of Django ORM, relationships, filtering, and database queries.
· Understanding of authentication, permissions, validation, pagination, and API error handling.
· Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
Architecture & Development
· Experience working with microservices or service-oriented architectures.
· Understanding of API integration, authentication, error handling, and asynchronous operations.
· Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Version Control & Tools
· Proficiency with Git and collaborative Git workflows.
· Experience working with pull requests and code reviews.
· Familiarity with development and debugging tools.
Testing & Quality
· Understanding of unit testing and integration testing.
· Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues across frontend and backend systems.
· Strong attention to code quality and maintainability.
Nice-to-have: Experience or familiarity with Module Federation, including Webpack Module Federation / Module Federation (Webpack 5), Vite Module Federation, or Micro-frontends / Micro frontends / MFE.

· Hands-on experience or working knowledge of Next.js.
