Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in SAP FI, including full-cycle implementation projects covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Accounting, and Fixed Asset Accounting.
Basic controlling as well like profit center accounting, cost center accounting, Cost element accounting
Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration, intercompany transactions, financial reconciliations, and month-end and period-end closing activities.
Experience in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Strong understanding of SAP FI integration with other modules, including MM, SD, CO, PP, and PM, ensuring seamless financial data flow across business processes.
Ability to conduct detailed business process analysis, facilitate client workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into effective SAP solutions.
Experience in providing end-to-end solutions addressing systems, people, operations, and business processes, aligned with client requirements and industry best practices.
Proven experience in Record to Report (RTR) processes, including financial close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and financial statement preparation.
Ability to lead finance strategy and process transformation initiatives to optimize RTR processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen financial controls.
Knowledge of automation, analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and AI-based solutions to enhance financial reporting accuracy, streamline reconciliations, and reduce financial close cycle timelines.
Practical exposure to IDocs, interfaces, and integration technologies for data exchange between SAP and external systems, ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing.
Experience in preparing functional specifications, executing SIT/UAT, resolving defects, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting business users.
Ability to independently manage client interactions, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and deliver SAP FI solutions within project timelines.
Experience in mentoring junior team members, providing technical and functional guidance, conducting training, and supporting knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
At least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or rollout experience.
Experience in SAP Finance Transformation and RTR process optimization.
Exposure to financial process automation using RPA, AI, and advanced analytics.
Experience working on large-scale SAP implementation, migration, or transformation programs.
Ability to lead client workshops, manage deliverables independently, and collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
