Commercial & Investment Bank Treasury – Advanced Treasury Analytics (ATA) – Senior Associate (Warsaw)

As a Senior Associate in the Advanced Treasury Analytics (ATA) team, you will deepen your expertise in quantitative analytics, data engineering, and software development while working with modern tooling and large, complex data sets. You will be part of a collaborative, high-performing team that values learning, mentorship, and professional development.
This role offers global exposure, allowing you to work closely with colleagues in London, New York, and other international locations on impactful projects.
Job responsibilities
Build, maintain, and enhance analytics tooling and data pipelines that support liquidity, risk, and capital management decision-making.
Support the global ATA team in maintaining and improving analytical tools and processes, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members across locations and cross-functional partners to deliver scalable solutions.
Contribute to establishing a strong foundation and support for the ATA London team; including reusable tooling, best practices and documentation to support a potential future build-out.
Communicate findings and updates clearly to team leads and stakeholders, translating technical results into business-relevant outcomes.
Assist in analysing data and preparing reports to help inform treasury management decisions.
Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities, including mentoring from senior team members.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Strong programming skills with demonstrated advanced Python experience (writing production-quality code, not just notebooks).
Experience designing, building, and maintaining data-intensive applications, analytics tools, or pipelines on cloud-based platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake).
Familiarity with software engineering best practices (version control, CI/CD, code review, unit testing) and/or data quality controls.
Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and an engineering mindset (testing, reproducibility, performance).
Comfort working with large data sets and translating ambiguous business problems into well-scoped technical deliverables.
Effective communicator and team player, able to collaborate across geographies and disciplines.
Motivated to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Experience in banking, treasury, financial services, or exposure to financial markets and wholesale banking products (helpful but not required).
Exposure to financial modelling, optimization techniques, or risk/portfolio analytics.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a highly quantitative or technical field such as Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline.
