Position Overview
Atrium Health Dermatology SouthPark is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing dermatology team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This outpatient-only position offers the opportunity to work alongside an established group of dermatology providers in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on delivering exceptional skin care services.
The ideal candidate will enjoy building long-term patient relationships, working within a team-based setting, and providing high-quality dermatologic care to a diverse patient population. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Position Highlights
Full-time APP opportunity
Outpatient-only practice
Monday through Friday schedule with daytime clinic hours
No call responsibilities
No nights, weekends, or inpatient coverage
Join a well-established practice consisting of 14 physicians and 1 APP
Dedicated clinical support staff
Collaborative and supportive team environment

Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of dermatologic conditions
Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing patient management
Educate patients regarding skin health, treatment options, and preventive care
Collaborate closely with dermatologists and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record
QualificationsRequired
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Eligible for North Carolina licensure
Current national certification as an NP or PA
Ability to obtain necessary credentialing and privileging requirements
Preferred
Interest in dermatology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
