Job Description – E/M OP CoderExperience: Minimum 3 YearsSpecialization: Evaluation and Management (E/M) – Outpatient CodingAbout the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented E/M OP Coder with a minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient medical coding. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of E/M coding guidelines and the ability to ensure accurate coding based on clinical documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesReview outpatient medical records and assign appropriate E/M codes.Accurately assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes based on clinical documentation.Ensure compliance with outpatient coding guidelines and industry standards.Identify documentation gaps and support coding accuracy.Participate in quality audits and implement feedback to improve coding performance.Stay updated on coding guidelines, regulatory changes, and best practices.Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to applicable privacy regulations.Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience in E/M Outpatient (OP) Coding.Strong knowledge of E/M coding guidelines, CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM.Good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation.Experience with coding software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Good verbal and written communication skills.CPC certification or an equivalent coding certification is preferred.
