As a SAP ABAP Developer- Senior Associate you will support SAP Finance consulting work by analyzing client requirements, developing ABAP solutions, and contributing to software implementation and support that helps clients improve financial processes and reporting. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful client connections, and mentor Associates and other junior team members while deepening your technical skills and business understanding within our SAP Finance practice. In this role at PwC, you will help deliver SAP finance application work that supports integration, training, and ongoing system use, while navigating ambiguity and maintaining professional and technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing SAP finance client needs and translating them into functional and technical solution requirements
- Developing ABAP programs, enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms to support finance process transformation
- Debugging, testing, and resolving issues in ABAP code and SAP finance integrations to support stable system performance
- Collaborating with functional teams to design data flows, validate requirements, and align technical build with client objectives
- Supporting SAP S/4HANA finance implementations, migrations, and optimization efforts across finance operations
- Preparing technical specifications, unit test results, and implementation documentation for client deliverables
- Mentoring junior team members and reviewing assigned workstreams to promote consistency and technical accuracy
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for a Master's or Masters of Business Administration degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Business Admininstration/Management, Commerce, Computer and Information Science, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
- Demonstrating SAP ABAP development experience within finance transformation programs
- Utilizing SAP Core ERP knowledge across finance, customer, or supply chain processes
- Translating business needs into technical solutions and deliverables
- Interpreting data to inform recommendations and problem solving
- Guiding junior team members while adapting to changing client needs
- Navigating ambiguity while building client connections and personal growth
