Casual Bar & Events Assistant

Location: Bisham National Sports and Conferencing Centre, Marlow SL7 1RR
Salary: Paying up to £12.71 per hour
Schedule: Casual contract. Complete a range of shifts between 11am and 1am, Monday to Sunday, to meet the needs of the business.

As a Bar Assistant in our Leisure team, you’ll help create a welcoming environment where customers can relax, socialise, and enjoy high-quality food and drink service. You'll play an important role in ensuring every visitor receives excellent customer care while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the bar.

What you’ll do as a Bar Assistant
Deliver excellent customer service and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as food items, efficiently and professionally
Follow all financial and cash-handling procedures accurately
Replenish and rotate stock, maintaining appropriate stock levels and reporting requirements to management
Carry out cleaning duties and maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and presentation
Support functions, events, and bar operations across the site as required

You’re passionate about providing excellent customer service and take pride in your work
You have experience in a bar, café, retail, hospitality, or other customer-focused environment
You’re confident working as part of a team and can adapt to changing business needs
You’re willing to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
You must be aged 18 or over due to the requirement to serve alcohol
