We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer with a strong background in Oracle DB administration and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle database operations, along with solid experience in SRE principles, CI/CD, monitoring, and automation.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of Oracle DB in production.
Collaborate with application teams to support database-backed services.
Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response processes.
Improve system reliability through code, configuration, and automation.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database (SQL tuning, backups, RAC, ASM, etc. ).
Proficiency with Linux systems, scripting (Bash, Python), and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc. ).
CI/CD pipelines experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc. ).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Nice to Have:
Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration.
Knowledge of other DB technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc. ).
Prior experience in high-availability and disaster recovery strategies.
