Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Python (Flask / FastAPI / Django).
Build, optimise, and manage RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and third-party systems.
Implement efficient database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB.
Contribute to microservices architecture, backend workflows, and system scalability.
Ensure high standards of code quality, security, performance, and scalability.
Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment, monitoring, and optimisation in AWS environments.
Frontend (React.js ):
Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React.js .
Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, reusable, and scalable components.
Manage application state using Redux/Context API/Hooks.
Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs securely and efficiently.
Optimise UI performance across browsers and devices.
Cross-Functional:
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Work closely with Product, Frontend, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
Requirements:
2+ years of hands-on experience in Python backend development (Flask / FastAPI / Django).
Strong experience in React.js with modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and authentication (JWT, OAuth2).
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Good knowledge of HTML5 CSS3 and responsive design principles.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimisation skills.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Exposure to AWS Cloud Services (ECS, EC2 Lambda, S3 and CloudWatch).
Knowledge of asynchronous programming (asyncio, Celery).
Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and caching (Redis).
Basic understanding of AI/ML model integration in production systems.
Prior experience in the FinTech/banking / financial services domain.
Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or modern UI libraries is a plus.
