Senior Software Engineer 3

Responsibilities:
Coding Proficiency: Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code (language-agnostic, though familiarity with the team stack is a plus).
Ownership and Drive: Proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently, manage tasks, and see them through to completion.
Communication: Clear and effective communication of technical concepts, designs, and challenges, both verbally and in writing.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within the team and with cross-functional partners across different time zones.
Debugging Skills: Aptitude for systematically identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
Requirements:
Must have: Strong proficiency in data structures and algorithms.
Solid understanding of core computer science concepts (operating systems, computer networks, DBMS).
1-2 years of relevant professional software development experience (backend or data engineering preferred).
Bachelor's Degree (B. Tech/B. E. ) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and be highly self-driven.
Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones (specifically requiring overlap with US teams).
Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse problems and apply knowledge of algorithms and data structures to find efficient solutions.
CS Fundamentals: Solid grasp of operating systems, networking, and database management systems concepts.
Nice to have:
Experience with Apache Spark.
Experience with Scala and/or Python (including PySpark).
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines / ETL processes.
Experience with distributed systems concepts.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Proficiency in Low-Level Design (LLD).
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Master's degree in a relevant field.
