We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and optimise our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure reliable deployments, scalable infrastructure, and high system availability. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Build, manage, and optimise CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployments.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Monitor application performance, system health, and infrastructure availability.
Implement containerisation and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
Manage production deployments while ensuring minimal downtime.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment efficiency.
Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
Strengthen infrastructure security through best DevSecOps practices.
Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Optimise cloud infrastructure for cost, scalability, and performance.
Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
3-7 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2 ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3 CloudWatch, Route 53 Lambda).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Linux system administration.
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Shell scripting.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or New Relic.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, SSL, load balancers, VPNs, and firewalls.
Familiarity with security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability management.
Experience with Git version control.
Good to Have:
Experience working in high-growth B2B SaaS or product companies.
Knowledge of GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.
Experience with Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, or Elasticsearch.
Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Understanding of DevSecOps practices.
AWS or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
