Senior Product Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Product Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python Full Stack Development to build scalable, cloud-native applications and modern web platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing backend services using Python and Flask, building responsive frontend applications with TypeScript/JavaScript, and deploying applications on AWS using modern DevOps practices. The role involves working closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams to design, build, and deliver highly available, secure, and performant applications in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Flask.
Build responsive, reusable, and modern user interfaces using TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate frontend applications with backend services.
Build cloud-native applications and deploy them on AWS.
Design scalable software architectures with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while following engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system reliability and performance.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
Requirements:
5-10 years of software engineering experience.
Strong expertise in Python and Flask.
Strong frontend development experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of software design principles, distributed systems, and scalable application architecture.
Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js .
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised deployments.
Exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience working with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and observability tools.
Experience building enterprise SaaS or Product-based applications.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
