Security Engineer

Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or an engineering-related field, or a minimum of 9-12 years in an IT security position.
Comfortable working on different projects with many teams at one time.
Proficient in automation and testing.
In-depth understanding of Windows, Mac, and UNIX/Linux-based systems, permissions, and interoperability.
Solid understanding of machine-to-machine and application-to-machine connections using MFA, certificates, tokens, and other methods.
Strong understanding of the identity lifecycle, secure by design, least privileged, and zero trust.
An in-depth knowledge and understanding of privileged identity and access management principles and best practices in common best-in-class products.
Strong understanding and experience in DevSecOps principles, building, and supporting containerized systems.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to detail use cases, requirements, test cases, and workflow diagrams in a technical environment.
Experience in effectively leading projects.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as a team member.
Experience with cloud computing environments and management technologies such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, Docker, Git, etc.
Understanding of desktop operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Experience or knowledge of encryption key lifecycle management.
Strong skillset with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Node, Go, Python, PowerShell, etc.
Experience and Knowledge of dashboarding and log correlation engines such as Grafana, Telegraph, Splunk, Databricks, etc.
