Software Development Engineer 2 (Security)

Responsibilities:
Build, test, and maintain scalable and resilient security tools that help mitigate vulnerabilities and automate manual tasks.
Integrate and extend third-party security tools to meet Adobe's unique needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional security teams (e. g., architects and security partners) to define, design, and deliver custom solutions.
Continuously evaluate emerging security tools and make recommendations based on Adobe's needs.
Provide on-call support for urgent security incidents, including off-hours and weekends.
Create clear, detailed documentation to support long-term maintenance and scaling.
Contribute to maturing our internal tools, best practices, and engineering processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience developing security-focused tools or software.
Solid understanding of modern security principles, practices, and tools.
Hands-on experience with AWS security services (e. g., IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail); experience with Azure or GCP is a plus.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python preferred).
Familiarity with web development frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS.
Strong grasp of DevSecOps practices and experience building/supporting containerized systems.
Comfortable working in Linux environments, including scripting, troubleshooting, and system administration.
Experience with modern infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
