Computer Scientist (C++)

Adobe Bridge is a powerful creative asset manager that lets you preview, organise, edit and publish multiple creative assets quickly and easily.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of core Adobe Bridge features, working directly with high-quality, cross-platform C++ code.
Leverage AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to accelerate development, review outputs and refine code effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, UX, and QA to implement features that impact millions of users.
Gain hands-on experience applying AI tools to enhance productivity, improve code quality, and optimise engineering workflows.
Design, develop, and maintain components of Adobe Bridge.
Debug and resolve technical issues across the product.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining engineering standards.
Apply AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development, automate repetitive tasks, and generate high-quality code.
Improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of relevant software development experience.
Strong C++ programming skills with modern C++ practices.
Solid understanding of object-orientated programming, data structures, and algorithms.
Knowledge of application development on multiple platforms, including Windows and macOS.
Strong grasp of operating system fundamentals.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, including agentic coding workflows, with the ability to direct AI sessions and integrate AI-generated code effectively.

Experience working with desktop applications.
Familiarity with graphics, animation, or creative software workflows.
Exposure to multithreading, memory management, or performance optimisation.
Experience working in mature codebases.
Hands-on experience using AI tools to assist coding to accelerate feature delivery.
