Join the FlashArray team to drive the next generation of our industry-leading, high-performance, and highly available storage portfolio. You will be a key innovator, designing and implementing cutting-edge algorithms and software that power mission-critical applications globally. This role offers the unique opportunity to own and deliver innovation end-to-end, collaborating with brilliant software engineers to maintain our reputation for simplicity and zero-downtime upgrades, extending our capabilities from on-premises to the public cloud.
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver high-reliability storage features: Own the end-to-end development of new algorithms and software for our highly reliable (six 9's) and high-performance system, ensuring exceptional customer experience and meeting demanding business SLAs.
Innovate and solve complex system challenges: Analyze, troubleshoot, and solve challenging problems in areas such as distributed systems, operating system internals, kernel integration, and large-scale data management to optimize performance and resilience.
Contribute to platform expansion and cloud integration: Develop features that extend FlashArray's value into the public cloud (e. g., CloudSnap, Cloud Block Store for AWS), enabling customers to leverage cloud agility for both traditional and cloud-native applications.
Impact customer satisfaction and product simplicity: Work cross-functionally to ensure the features developed maintain the platform's core tenets of simple management and constant, non-disruptive upgrades, directly contributing to high customer retention and happiness.
Requirements:
Expertise in systems programming with languages such as C, C++, Python, Go, or Java, demonstrated through the successful delivery of complex software projects.
Deep experience in one or more related systems software domains: Distributed Systems, Operating Systems, Linux Kernel, Database Internals, Hypervisors, Containers, or Compiler Optimization.
Proven design sensibility and a history of effective collaboration and contribution within a team-oriented environment.
A strong analytical mindset and persistent approach to solving challenging, ambiguous technical problems with high-quality, maintainable code.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bengaluru, India office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
