Member of Technical Staff

The primary responsibilities centre on end-to-end software development for the complete lifecycle, from architecture and coding (C/C++ focus) to release and maintenance. The role requires building and enhancing critical system software for inventory, configuration, monitoring, failover, and enclosure management. A major duty involves system design and implementation of robust interfaces between software and hardware components, and a close collaboration with hardware teams on system power-on, bring-up, and firmware management to ensure system availability.
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Development: Lead the complete software lifecycle from architecture, design, coding, and debugging to release and long-term maintenance.
System Design and Implementation: Build and enhance software for inventory, configuration, failover, monitoring, enclosure management, and event handling.
Interface and Integration: Design robust inter-component interfaces (software, hardware and application systems) and ensure smooth integration with existing infrastructure.
Hardware Collaboration: Contribute to system power-on, bring-up, and firmware management, including versioning, updates, and availability optimisation.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with global and cross-functional teams to deliver new features, manage vendor requirements, and ensure high-quality system delivery.
Requirements:
Technical Expertise: Strong command of C/C++ (Python proficiency a plus) and solid experience working on Linux or other *NIX environments.
Hardware Know-How: Hands-on experience with CPU architectures (x86 preferred), BMC, BIOS, EEPROM, PCIe, SAS, and communication protocols such as I2C, SMBus, or PMBus.
Practical Experience: Skilled in working with hardware platforms from design feedback and debugging to customer delivery and support.
Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work effectively with distributed and cross-functional teams in a product development environment.
