Senior MTS - Fullstack

Responsibilities:
Independently lead complex fullstack technical initiatives across and beyond your team.
Drive technical direction and roadmap, guiding domain teams toward the right architectural decisions.
Author Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) that influence overall tech strategy.
Own one or more large functional areas with deep expertise across frontend and backend.
Demonstrate a strong systems mindset, proactively addressing performance, security, and future-proofing solutions.
Take ownership of complex projects from conception to successful implementation.
Act as a change agent to raise the bar on culture, process, and engineering practices.
Empower teams through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and tool building.
Identify areas of the platform likely to evolve and design for flexibility to improve engineering velocity.
Define a long-term technology vision to modernise and keep systems relevant.
Lead engineering support, release, and on-call responsibilities for a 24/7 always-on site.
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that boost performance and enhance user experience.
Requirements:
Proven experience creating and driving technical strategy and roadmap across multiple domains.
Ability to balance trade-offs to ship scalable fullstack solutions aligned with long-term goals.
Track record of forging alignment with stakeholders on significant architecture decisions.
Experience developing and driving the adoption of technical practices that improve team velocity.
Solid knowledge of end-to-end system design: React/JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, Java/Python, REST/GraphQL APIs, messaging systems, RDBMS/NoSQL, containers, infrastructure layers.
Preferably experience with GraphQL.
Expertise in leading complex fullstack initiatives independently from inception to delivery.

Bachelor's degree in EE, CS, or related field.
14-18 years of experience building large-scale distributed web platforms and applications, with 5+ years as an architect/technical lead across multiple domains.
