Product Software Engineer - Fullstack

We are looking for a Product Software Engineer II to join its Ad Platforms Engineering team. This role is focused on building highly interactive, scalable, and modern web applications that power the advertising platform. As part of the frontend engineering team, you'll play a key role in creating intuitive user experiences, reusable UI components, and scalable design systems that support millions of users worldwide. You'll collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to build cloud-native applications, drive frontend architecture, and deliver high-quality software using modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications.
Build reusable UI components and contribute to a robust Design System.
Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to deliver cloud-native frontend solutions.
Drive frontend architecture, development standards, and engineering best practices.
Champion quality engineering through unit testing, UI automation, linting, and CI/CD pipelines.
Perform code reviews and optimise application performance and maintainability.
Mentor junior engineers by providing technical guidance and reference implementations.
Troubleshoot production issues across frontend and service layers.
Partner with project managers to deliver high-quality features on time.
Continuously improve engineering processes, development standards, and user experience.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in frontend or web application development.
Strong expertise in React.js and Next.js .
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 CSS3 Web APIs, WebSockets, and REST APIs.
Experience building scalable, reusable, and testable UI components.
Understanding of RESTful services and SQL/NoSQL databases.
Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of browser compatibility, performance optimisation, and responsive web development.
Experience writing unit tests and automated UI tests.
Familiarity with Agile, Lean development methodologies, and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience building and maintaining Design Systems and reusable component libraries.
Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
Previous experience in Digital Advertising or AdTech platforms.
Experience working with distributed or vendor engineering teams.
Passion for building pixel-perfect user interfaces and exceptional user experiences.
