Web Engineer

We are looking for a frontend-leaning Web Engineer with deep expertise in React.js and solid backend experience in Node.js . You will play a key role in building rich, high-performance user interfaces while also contributing to scalable backend services.
Responsibilities:
Develop dynamic, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces using React.js .
Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
Implement state management and optimise rendering performance.
Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, scalable code.
Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js .
Integrate frontend components with backend services.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
Optimise applications for speed, performance, and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and Agile development cycles.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience in React.js development.
Strong understanding of React concepts: Hooks, Context API, component lifecycle, performance optimisation.
Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or similar).
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend practices.
Solid knowledge of HTML5 CSS3 Flexbox/Grid, and responsive design.
Experience in consuming and integrating REST APIs.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Node.js .
Experience with Express.js or similar backend frameworks.
Knowledge of working with databases (MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
Good to Have:
Experience with Next.js or SSR concepts.
Familiarity with TypeScript.
Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
