Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer for our Bangalore location who is keen on developing the next-generation cloud-based data management SaaS platform. We are looking for someone who is motivated to work in a dynamic environment with the latest technologies. Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing and developing features that powers Komprise data management platform to manage billions of files and petabytes of data.
Responsible for designing and owning major components and systems of our product architecture, ensuring that the Komprise data management platform is highly available and scalable.
Responsible for defining component architecture, evaluating feasibility, developing for quality, and optimizing for performance.
Work in an agile, customer-focused, and fast-paced team with direct interaction with the customers.
Responsible for analysing customer escalated issues and providing resolutions promptly.
Should be able to design and implement highly performant, scalable distributed systems.
Requirements:
Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, especially data structures, algorithms, and multi-threading.
Ability to solve difficult problems with a simple, elegant solution.
Should have a solid object-oriented programming background in Java with impeccable design skills.
Experience in developing management applications and performance management applications is ideal.
Experience with object-based file systems and REST interfaces is a plus (e. g., Amazon S3 Azure, Google Cloud Service).
Experience with distributed systems, clustering, and scaling is a plus.
Should have a BE or higher in CS, EE, Math, or a related engineering or science field.
Tech Stack: We use the latest tools and languages. Most of the work is done in Java. We use Maven, Virtualisation, SaaS, Github, Jira, Slack, etc. Our solution runs in the cloud and on hypervisors.

Experience
6-9 yrs
