The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and release of our organization's web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with product owners and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and design software solutions to meet the product requirements.
Develops applications focusing on the presentation layer using application programming interfaces (APIs) and microservices architecture.
Develops unit and automation test scripts under the test-driven development lifecycle.
Contributes to coding best practices and helps with code merges and releases.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Related Field Preferred.
Typically 10+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming in Python and/or JavaScript (UI) (Angular or ReactJS) frameworks required.
Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle.
Software Development Experience with Python.
Experience with UI modern frameworks like AngularJS or ReactJS.
Experience with microservice architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and knowledge of API protocols like REST, gRPC, and graphQL.
Familiar with coding and testing best practices, as well as the ability to understand complex business problems and design high-quality technical solutions.
Knowledge of caching technologies and DBMS technologies like Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
