Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, high-quality products. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Backend Testing, API Testing, and Mobile Application Testing.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans across web, backend, APIs, and mobile applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
Conduct hands-on API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
Test backend services and validate API responses, business logic, data integrity, and integrations.
Perform mobile application testing across different devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and network conditions.
Identify, document, prioritise, and track bugs using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
Participate in requirement discussions and contribute to identifying potential quality risks early in the development cycle.
Perform regression testing for new releases and ensure existing functionality remains stable.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to continuously improve product quality and testing processes.
Contribute to building and maintaining QA processes, test documentation, and best practices.
Requirements:
Experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
Strong hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing.
Hands-on experience in API Testing and Backend Testing.
Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, and JSON.
Experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger, Jira, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Good understanding of software development and QA methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
