We at Khatabook are looking for an Android Developer to help streamline the development and maintenance of our Android applications as part of the engineering team.
Responsibilities:
Design and build new features and improvements for existing features.
Perform code reviews and contribute to architectural planning and refactoring.
Work on bug fixes and improving application performance.
Collaborate closely with QA, engineers, and product managers across the company.
Requirements:
Experience working on one or more Android apps available in the Play Store with a decent number of downloads.
Familiarity with Java and Kotlin.
Experience with the Android SDK and common frameworks like Dagger 2 Retrofit, WorkManager, and Room.
Experience working with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
Experience building UI using Jetpack Compose, with a good understanding of composables, state management, and Compose lifecycle.
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming.
Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
