As a Client Service Associate in our Commercial and Investment Banking team, you play a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction and business success. You will be the primary point of contact for your client portfolio, building strong relationships and delivering solutions that matter. You will work closely with colleagues across the business, contribute to process improvements, and help us deliver best-in-class service. Your work will have a direct impact on our clients and our firm.
Job responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact
Resolve client issues by identifying root causes and taking ownership from initiation to resolution
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver optimal service and solutions
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues, both verbally and in writing
Prioritize and manage daily workload to maximize productivity and meet deadlines
Apply knowledge of banking products and services to address client needs and add value
Identify and control risks, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Proactively seek opportunities for process and service improvements
Demonstrate a growth mindset by embracing continuous learning and feedback
Uphold a high standard of professionalism and client advocacy in all interactions
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in client service, operations, sales, portfolio management, or financial services
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a client-facing or relationship management role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
High level of risk awareness and adherence to compliance standards
Proven ability to drive process improvements and contribute ideas for service enhancements
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Experience in banking or financial services industry
Knowledge of legal documentation, contracts, and complex account products
Ability to use data to create metrics and reporting
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Experience supporting international clients or working with global teams
Familiarity with commercial treasury management products and services
Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and lead initiatives
