Responsibilities:
Work on the complete software development lifecycle - from requirements to production
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs primarily using Node.js .
Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
Contribute to the development of cloud-native applications using AWS services.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain code quality.
Support and enhance existing systems, including components built with Java and Spring Boot.
Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
Design database schemas and manage data using MongoDB.
Integrate Kafka to enable real-time event streaming and communication.
Implement best practices for CI/CD and cloud deployments.
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and optimize systems for speed and scalability.
Requirements:
Looking for a candidate with 3.5-5 years of exp in Node.js (Backend Engineer).
Strong experience with Node.js and microservice architecture.
Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.
Solid grasp of RESTful API design, HTTP, and API integration.
Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
Expertise in MongoDB for schema design and query optimization.
Proficiency with Kafka for real-time messaging and event-driven systems.
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (e. g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or CloudWatch.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
