Machine Learning Engineer

Requirements:
Strong expertise in Machine Learning fundamentals and advanced AI concepts.
Proven experience in leading ML/AI engineering teams and mentoring engineers on production systems, not just coordinating analysts or managing delivery timelines.
Ability to define AI/ML strategy and drive execution across projects.
Deep understanding of data engineering concepts like ETL design, Medallion architecture, etc.
Strong experience in solution architecture and enterprise-scale system design.
Must be able to design a real-time serving system with latency, throughput, and cost tradeoffs managed properly.
Must demonstrate production ownership: has built, deployed, monitored, and debugged ML systems serving real traffic, and can describe production incidents and their resolution.
Deep understanding of recommendation and ranking systems architecture: candidate generation, scoring, feature infrastructure, and evaluation.
Strong understanding of AI observability, governance, and Responsible AI practices.
Experience designing reusable AI/ML frameworks and accelerators.
Strong stakeholder management and business communication skills.
Must communicate technical ideas clearly and concisely.
Lead candidates will be evaluated on their ability to explain system design and trade-offs under time pressure.
Experience in roadmap planning, delivery management, and technical leadership.
