Lead Engineer - Next.js

Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain features of 7NOW. com.
Active collaboration and communication with a team in the USA.
Lead a team of frontend and backend engineers, conduct code reviews, define coding standards, define architecture, and drive technical discussions.
Manage a small team and develop backend services using Java or Node.js, following microservices architecture principles.
Create interactive web applications and features using Next.js with Typescript.
Requirements:
Must have 8+ years of experience building frontend applications using Next.js and React.js .
Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with App Router, SSR/ISR/SSG and BFF Architecture.
Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with SCSS and/or Tailwind CSS.
Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with SEO optimization and Core Web Vitals.
Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress).
Experience with Java (Spring Boot, J2EE) and working knowledge of Node.js .
Experience in creating and using REST and Graph QL APIs.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab or GitHub Actions and AWS (ECS Fargate, CloudFront, S3 Route 53 AppConfig, Secrets Manager, and Redis).
Strong understanding of observability, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting using tools like New Relic and CloudWatch.
Good collaboration and communication across DevOps, QA, and product teams
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Agile development practices.
Experience in mentoring juniors is preferred.
