We are looking for a skilled BI Data Engineer with strong experience in ETL development, SQL, AWS analytics services, and data warehousing. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable BI and ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter, AWS Redshift, S3 Glue, Tableau, and Power BI to support enterprise analytics and reporting solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter.
Build and optimize data warehouse solutions on AWS Redshift.
Develop data processing scripts using SQL, Python, and Unix Shell Scripting.
Work on AWS services including Glue, S3 Lambda, Athena, EC2 and Redshift.
Implement source-to-target mappings and complex SQL transformations.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines.
Ensure data quality, validation, and governance standards.
Create dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
Collaborate with BI Analysts, Data Engineers, and Business teams for data solutions.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to engineering best practices.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering / BI Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter, AWS Redshift, Glue, S3 Athena, SQL and Data Warehousing, Python and Unix Shell Scripting, and Tableau / Power BI.
Experience in dimensional modeling and schema design.
Knowledge of data governance, security, and enterprise BI solutions.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
AWS / Informatica certifications are an added advantage.
Experience in consulting or enterprise-level projects preferred.
