EMS Engineer

We are looking for a Java EMS Engineer for a Global Client, with strong experience in developing and supporting Element Management Systems (EMS) within Telecom or Networking domains. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java backend development, network management systems, and telecom/networking concepts.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain EMS/NMS applications for telecom and networking products.
Develop backend services using Core Java and enterprise Java technologies.
Work with network elements such as Routers, Switches, Base Stations, gNB/eNB, and Telecom Equipment.
Develop and maintain alarm management, fault management, performance management, and configuration management modules.
Integrate EMS applications with network devices using standard protocols.
Analyse and troubleshoot issues related to network management systems.
Collaborate with product development, testing, and customer support teams.
Participate in feature development, bug fixing, and system optimisation activities.
Requirements:
Strong Core Java development experience.
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
Linux environment experience.
Knowledge of Telecom or Networking domains.
Understanding of TCP/IP Networking fundamentals.
Experience with EMS/NMS platforms is highly preferred.
Exposure to SNMP, Netconf, YANG, CORBA, SOAP, REST, or similar management protocols is an advantage.

FCAPS concepts.
LTE / 5G Network Management exposure.
