The Job You Will Perform:
Following all safety rules and practices;
Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels;
Performing emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations;
Referencing equipment manuals and other technical literature;
Contacting and working with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results;
Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, hot glue system, and other repairs and installations as needed;
Maintaining clean and organized work areas, and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks;
Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork;
Trouble-shooting and solving problems
Maintaining teamwork with other associates;
Willingness to work weekends, Holidays and fills when needed
Willingness to be on call for facility emergencies and maintenance needs.
Keeping supervisor informed of problems and/or unusual situations;
Maintain compliance with company quality systems and support audits.
Basic design and fabrication of repairs and process improvements; and
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
The Skills You Will Bring:
2 years of related mechanical experience working in an industrial manufacturing production environment required..
Experience/knowledge in the following areas: Electrical circuit troubleshooting, PLC, Electronics, ARC flash, plumbing, steam and boiler, pneumatics, confined space, mobile equipment, some welding.
High School diploma or state registered GED preferred.
Ability to adapt to change.
Ability to problem solve and prioritize work.
Ability to bend, squat and kneel, and climb frequently.
Ability to stand for periods of a minimum of 3 hours.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
