Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team and help build scalable healthcare SaaS products. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across Python backend microservices, React-based front-end applications, PostgreSQL databases, cloud-native deployments, and DevOps workflows. This role requires strong hands-on engineering ability, an ownership mindset, and experience working with distributed systems.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain full-stack features across frontend, backend, database, and deployment layers.
Develop responsive, production-grade web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling.
Design and implement backend APIs using FastAPI and Python.
Work with microservice-based architecture, including service boundaries, API contracts, authentication, observability, and inter-service communication.
Build and maintain PostgreSQL-backed services using SQLAlchemy or similar ORM tools.
Design efficient database schemas, indexes, migrations, and queries.
Work with event-driven architecture for asynchronous workflows, notifications, background processing, and service decoupling.
Implement secure authentication and authorisation flows using JWT, RBAC, and tenant-aware access control.
Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, notification providers, storage services, and AI/ML APIs.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Containerise and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Debug production issues across frontend, backend, database, and infrastructure layers.
Collaborate with product, design, QA, and other engineers to deliver reliable features.
Requirements:
Strong backend development experience with Python and FastAPI.
Experience building REST APIs and working with OpenAPI/Pydantic-style validation.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
Good understanding of event-based/event-driven architecture.
Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with modern frontend frameworks and patterns, including SSR concepts.
Good understanding of Vite, Next.js or similar frontend build/runtime systems.
Hands-on PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, joins, indexes, query optimisation, and troubleshooting on PG server.
Experience with SQLAlchemy or a similar ORM.
Good working knowledge of Docker.
Kubernetes knowledge is mandatory.
Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.
Strong Linux hands-on skills for logs, processes, networking, shell commands, deployments, and debugging.
Understanding of authentication, authorisation, JWT, RBAC, and secure API design.
Experience working with object storage such as MinIO or S3-compatible systems.
Familiarity with observability, logging, metrics, and production monitoring.
Strong Git and GitHub workflow knowledge.
Hands-on experience on K8
Understanding of authentication frameworks (OAuth, JWT, SSO).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with TanStack React Query, Zustand, React Router, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, or Radix UI.
Experience with async Python, HTTPX, background tasks, and service-to-service communication.
Experience with payment integrations, notification systems, email/SMS/WhatsApp workflows.
Experience with healthcare, SaaS, multi-tenant systems, or regulated data environments.
Experience with AI/LLM API integrations such as OpenAI or LangChain.
Experience with Flask is a plus.
Experience with Redis, caching, queues, or pub/sub systems.
Knowledge of Helm, ingress, secrets management, and Kubernetes troubleshooting.
