We are looking for an experienced Vice President - Engineering and Architecture to lead the engineering organisation and define the technical vision for an AI-native healthcare platform. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in AI, distributed systems, cloud architecture, and enterprise SaaS while mentoring engineering leaders and driving technical excellence.
Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end architecture of a cloud-native enterprise healthcare platform.
Design scalable, secure, and highly available distributed systems and microservices.
Lead architecture for AI-powered solutions using LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, multi-agent systems, semantic search, and LLMOps.
Drive engineering best practices, architecture governance, code quality, and technical reviews.
Mentor Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and senior engineers.
Collaborate with Product, AI, Clinical, Design, and QA teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Define cloud architecture on AWS using Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
Build scalable data platforms leveraging PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and Vector Databases.
Optimise platform performance, reliability, observability, security, and infrastructure costs.
Drive technical roadmap, reduce technical debt, and evaluate emerging technologies.
Requirements:
15+ years of software engineering and architecture experience.
5+ years leading engineering teams or enterprise SaaS architecture.
Proven experience building and scaling cloud-native enterprise platforms.
Strong expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience delivering AI/GenAI products from concept to production.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical decision-making skills.
