Albertsons Companies is reimagining the grocery experience through a digital and customer experience transformation. The DAM Administrator will oversee daily and business-as-usual (BAU) administrative operations of our new digital asset management (DAM) platform. S/he will be responsible for onboarding new users; creating user accounts; updating/maintaining metadata schemas; onboarding new business units into the DAM and building folder repositories to specifications; overseeing and maintaining automated workflow queues; and reporting on system/platform usage metrics and uptime. This role will also serve as initial points of contact for system/platform troubleshooting and user support.
The right candidate will be able to interface with different internal and external business units; able to engage and escalate to Engineering when needed; understand basic business requirements, needs, and urgency; uphold and enforce platform standards and conventions; and act as liaison to business stakeholders and librarians. This position requires prior experience managing digital asset management platforms; familiarity with managing digital media content and metadata; and a background in digital operations. Responsibilities:
Creates and sustains links between business requirements and technology production while articulating requirements and controls expectations of both business and technical clients.
IT Project Planning and Organisation:
Does project planning, budget estimation and management, resource planning and assessment, financial planning and risk assessment for IT projects that span disciplines, geographic areas and business cultures.
Adopts existing Project Management best practices, including the proficient use of industry-standard tools, technologies, and methodologies.
Manages multiple projects at any given time.
Well-organised, detail-oriented, has great communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
IT Project Control and Reporting:
Designs reporting formats for project reporting to managerial, technical and business stakeholders.
Reconciles multiple project progress reports with department budgets.
Applies the principles of Earned Value Analysis across multiple IT projects.
Brings awareness to overdue or troubled IT projects and assists in imposing controls.
Application Delivery Process:
Designs relevant documentation, standards, policies and practices to ensure phase and task dependencies and considerations.
Supervises the full spectrum of delivery activities on multiple development projects.
Explains the relative criticality, risk and potential reward of each and all major tasks.
Product and Vendor Evaluation:
Executes review and approval processes and procedures.
Produces written recommendation detailing candidates, benefits and drawbacks.
Assists in the evaluation of overall aspects of products and services functionality, performance, etc.
Assists in the evaluation of overall considerations, including risk, and provides recommendations, including considerations for situations when an exception to policy, procedure or standard may be warranted.
Requirements:
Skills Required: IT Project Management, Project Management, Project Delivery, Release Management, Oracle PPM, Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, SAFe, Agile, Scrum.
Experience Range: 9 - 12 years.
9+ years of Project Management experience, with an Application Development or Technical Project Management background and proven record delivering multiple concurrent technology solutions.
Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus; MBA a plus.
Expert-level skills in project planning, budget estimation and management, resource planning and assessment, financial planning and risk assessment.
Project Management experience in technical Application Development.
Strong knowledge of Project Management Methodology and Tools (e. g., MS Project, Visio, Agile, SDLC, etc. ) with a strong knowledge of Project Management Disciplines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong expectation management, influencing and conflict resolution skills.
Strong ability to collaborate across various groups, build relationships and manage effectively in a matrix organisation.
Strong ability to motivate teams and coach and train business system analysts and lower-level project managers.
In-depth advanced knowledge of process evaluation and selection of products, tools, services and infrastructure components in line with an organisation's business needs and architectural principles.
Strong ability to mentor, develop and train other Technical Program Specialists.
Strong expertise in Jira, Confluence and ability to build reports in Jira.
Self-motivated person who takes initiative and can work independently of daily direction.
Ability to provide consultative know-how to Senior Management, IT, Stakeholders and Business Groups on project management.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure to balance competing priorities.
Retail Domain experience is a big plus.

Strong problem-solving, decision-making and risk management abilities.
Stakeholder and cross-functional dependency management.
Technical background in software development, systems architecture, or related fields.
Software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.
Extensive experience in using Jira and Confluence; use Jira Query Language to build reports for measuring/managing the team's performance.
Retail Domain Experience.
Additional Skills Required:
PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification.
Lean, Six Sigma or SAFe methodologies.
Change management principles.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e. g., Azure, GCP).
Understanding of business analysis and requirements gathering.
Skills in conflict resolution and negotiation.
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e. g., SQL, Python).
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
Product Owner.
Scrum Master Certification.
Azure or Google Cloud Experience.
