Job Purpose Responsible for evaluating and approving Loan Against Property (LAP) proposals within delegated authority while ensuring adherence to credit policy, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.

The Retail Secured Business provides Loan Against Property solutions to self-employed customers, MSMEs, professionals and salaried individuals for business expansion, working capital, debt consolidation and personal financial requirements.
The Credit Function is responsible for assessing borrower repayment capacity, collateral quality, legal enforceability, financial strength and overall creditworthiness while maintaining a balance between business growth and portfolio quality.
Job Context
Evaluate and approve LAP proposals as per defined credit policies and guidelines.
Assess customer income, business profile, banking behaviour and repayment capacity.
Review legal, technical and valuation reports for collateral properties.
Maintain portfolio quality through prudent underwriting and risk monitoring.
Support business growth through timely credit decisions.
Collaborate with sales, operations, legal, technical and collections teams for seamless execution.
