Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Ghaziabad. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales professionals to achieve business targets for life insurance products across Protection, Pension, Savings, and Health segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, supporting agents and channel partners, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with customers and distribution partners, and providing training and coaching to improve sales effectiveness and customer experience. The Sales Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive local market growth and contribute to the company’s customer-centric culture.
Qualifications
Strong sales management and leadership skills, with the ability to build, guide, and motivate high-performing teams.
Proficiency in business development, customer relationship management, and stakeholder engagement in a competitive market.
Experience in planning and executing sales strategies, setting targets, and analyzing performance and productivity metrics.
Knowledge of life insurance products and distribution channels, including agency, bancassurance, and corporate partnerships (experience in financial services is an advantage).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, agents, and internal teams.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including forecasting, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Comfort with using digital tools and CRM or sales management systems to track activities and manage customer data.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications in insurance or sales management is a plus.
