Role Description The Cross Sell role is a full-time, on-site position based in India, focused on expanding product penetration among existing customers of Axis Max Life Insurance Limited and its distribution partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying cross-sell opportunities from existing portfolios, explaining suitable insurance and savings products aligned with customer needs, and ensuring accurate and compliant policy issuance. The role involves collaborating with branch and sales teams, following a structured sales process, and maintaining high standards of customer service and follow-up. The position also requires maintaining detailed records of interactions, achieving individual and team targets, and adhering to regulatory and organizational guidelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong sales and cross-selling skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and offer appropriate insurance solutions.
Candidates should possess customer relationship management skills, including clear communication, active listening, and professional follow-up.
Candidates should possess basic financial and insurance domain understanding, including life insurance products, regulatory norms, and risk concepts.
Candidates should possess organizational and documentation skills, ensuring accurate data entry, record-keeping, and compliance with internal processes.
Relevant experience in banking, insurance, or financial services sales will be beneficial, ideally in branch-based or on-site customer-facing roles.
A graduate degree in any discipline is preferred; additional certifications in insurance or financial planning are an advantage.
Candidates should be comfortable working in an on-site environment in India, meeting defined performance targets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
