Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Consultant role based in Rajasthan, India. The Financial Consultant will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable life insurance and investment solutions from HDFC Life’s portfolio. Responsibilities include explaining product features and riders, conducting financial planning discussions, and assisting customers with proposal forms, documentation, and policy servicing. The role involves achieving defined sales and revenue targets, maintaining long-term customer relationships, and supporting branch-level activities, campaigns, and outreach programs. The Financial Consultant will collaborate closely with branch staff and management to ensure a high standard of customer experience and compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong sales and customer relationship skills, including the ability to identify needs, present solutions clearly, and close opportunities ethically.
Financial understanding and advisory skills, with the capacity to discuss protection, savings, investment, and retirement planning in a simple and accurate manner.
Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to interact effectively with diverse customer groups.
Organizational and follow-up skills, such as maintaining records, tracking leads, managing time efficiently, and ensuring timely completion of documentation.
Basic proficiency in digital tools and MS Office applications to support reporting, documentation, and customer communication.
Preferably a bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field; relevant sales or insurance certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in life insurance, banking, financial services, or direct customer-facing sales roles is highly beneficial.
