Role Description The Senior Relationship Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is responsible for building and managing strong customer relationships, with a focus on sourcing and servicing loans across Capri Loans’ key lending products, including Gold, MSME, Construction, and Housing Loans. Day-to-day activities include identifying prospective customers, explaining product features and terms, conducting preliminary eligibility checks, and supporting customers through documentation and loan processing. The Senior Relationship Officer will regularly follow up on leads, manage collections and repayments as required, maintain accurate records in company systems, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The role also involves close coordination with branch teams and credit, operations, and collections functions to drive portfolio growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and meet assigned business targets.
Qualifications
Strong relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust, understand customer needs, and provide appropriate financial solutions.
Sales and business development capabilities, including lead generation, field sourcing, negotiation, and target achievement in retail lending or related domains.
Knowledge of retail lending products such as Gold Loans, MSME Loans, Housing Loans, and other secured credit offerings, with familiarity in documentation and basic credit assessment.
Proficiency in using basic computer applications and digital tools for data entry, reporting, and customer tracking; comfort with working in branch-based systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and local languages of Madhya Pradesh; ability to explain complex financial information in a clear, accessible manner.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and adherence to compliance, risk, and regulatory norms in financial services.
Ability to work on-site, travel locally for customer visits, and collaborate effectively with branch teams and cross-functional stakeholders
