Role Description – Automation Engineer
Preferred Location: Chennai/ bengaluru/ Hyderabad/ Kochi/ Indore/ Trivandrum
Experience: 6-10 Years’ Experience
Required Technical Skill Set:
Java, Selenium, API Automation testing,
Rest Assured, Cucumber, BDD,Backend DB
GIT, GITLAB Java,Banking, Jenkins,
Must Have:
Experience in API, Postman testing and API Test automation, Rest, SOAP, Graph QL, Postman, Rest Assured, Unit test, JavaTest NG, Junit.
Candidate should have knowledge of full system life cycles.
Knowledge of quality assurance practices and tools are required.
Automation testing experience in the web and client server environments.
Must have experience in writing test cases, test plans, structured test methodology, use cases
Development experience in test scripts, execution and reporting also required.
Good to have:
Optional Hands on on A11Y (accessibility testing) is a PLUS.
Expectations/ requirements:
Test application code components. Follow Agile practices & US Bank coding/testing policies
Participate in Solution Design
Perform unit testing using JUnit, build functional test scripts & automate using Selenium
Debugging/defect resolution
(Optional) Set-up CI/CD environment & implement/use DevOps tools for automated build, test & release
Provide insights and recommendations from past experience
Feedback incorporation as per Agile principle via Show and Tell
Development will meet 90% JUnit test coverage at the API level
