Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer at Aara Tech, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end development lifecycle of our core products. This position involves architecting, designing, and implementing complex web applications, working closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality, performant solutions. You will contribute significantly to shaping our technical direction, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring our platforms provide exceptional user experiences and robust functionality that directly impacts our business growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance full-stack applications, ensuring architectural integrity and system reliability for our diverse client base.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both front-end and back-end components, leveraging modern frameworks and best practices to enhance product capabilities.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA, to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and deliver integrated solutions.
Drive technical discussions, perform thorough code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to elevate the overall quality of our software and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimising application performance and ensuring a seamless user experience across all our platforms.
Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices in software development, design patterns, and system architecture.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and technologies to enhance team productivity and product delivery efficiency.
Requirements:
Demonstrated proficiency in front-end development using React.js, JavaScript, and jQuery, with a strong understanding of modern web standards and responsive design principles.
Expert-level knowledge in back-end development with Java and Spring Boot, capable of building robust, scalable, and secure microservices and APIs.
Solid experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design, query optimisation, and data management.
Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, version control (Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, well-tested code.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
