About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Lending Development Consultant in Personal Lending & Retail Services as part of our Retail Services Team. We partner with retail merchants to issue private label credit cards to consumers for use at their merchant location. This role will personally develop new retail partners within a territory comprised of Arizona, Southern, CA to Orange County, Southern Nevada (Las Vegas).
In this role, you will:
Lead in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Business Lending Development functional area and contribute to large-scale planning related to functional area deliverables
Review and analyze moderately complex business challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors within Business Lending Development functional area
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements within Business Lending Development functional area
Collaborate and consult with Business Lending Development peers, colleagues, and middle level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Lead Business Lending Development projects and teams, or serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Business Lending Development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years of business-to-business sales experience
Ability to learn sales plans, product lines and services.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
3 + years of strong prospecting, sales, negotiation, and influence skills
3 + years of new business development experience
3 + years of outside sales experience
Sales experience in the financial services industry
Experience meeting or exceeding sales goals with respect to products and/or services.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Reliable transportation
Residency in territory
Ability to provide and work from a home office
Location:
100% remote work location is required for this position however must be based in a one of the major markets within the posting territory, which would be Phoenix, AZ or surrounding areas
Compensation:
The pay range for this position may vary based on location and includes opportunities for commission.
